What can I say, we loved absolutely everything about this hotel, start with it’s literally 50 yards from Nagasaki Station and a large shopping mall so lots of food, the bedroom was amazing, the view from our window was awesome, the breakfast was the best in Japan so far, the staff were so nice we wanted to take them home with us and very importantly, it’s a very quiet hotel where you can simply relax. We will be back for sure!

Guests can also relax in the garden or in the shared lounge area. We had an AMAZING stay at Iki Retreat. Everything was seamless - the hotel driver picked us from the lunch place directly (we went for lunch first when we arrived at Ashibe port - you can arrange everything through email before arrival), and throughout our stay, Katano helped us with everything as he was able to speak some English. Staff are impeccable and attentive, room with a magnificent view, private onsen on our private terrace, everything you need for a relaxing and rejuvenating retreat was provided - drinks in the room, use of private bath and gym (gymwear also provided if needed) were provided with no extra charge. We opted to have breakfast and dinner included and the food was just out of this world. Delicious delicacies - iki beef, squid, teppanyaki, sashimi, sushi, condiments etc.....the chef will prepare everything in front of you. You do have to pay for the alcohol with dinner... Our jetfoil got cancelled and Katano and the staff helped to find alternatives for us as well. I could go on and on with only everything positive to say....

The property provides a 24-hour front desk. An incredible place—I regret that we stayed here for only one night. I would happily come back for a week or two. This hotel is perfect for a family getaway. There are several hot springs, including private ones where the whole family can relax together. Plenty of cozy spots for rest and relaxation, as well as play areas for kids. Don’t make the same mistake we did—stay for more than just one night!

FAV LUX Nagasaki offers a hot tub. My husband and I loved this hotel. The modern Japanese design of the hotel is lovely. Staff is kind. We also loved the (coffee)bar and terrace at ground level. They have delicious snacks, and we really liked to relax at the terrace after a day in the city. Try the drink: peachade from the bar, it's so tasteful. Room was clean. There are supermarkets nearby. You can park your car a few metres down the road for like 12€ a day.

This 4-star hotel offers a 24-hour front desk and free shuttle service. The accommodation offers a sauna, hot spring bath, restaurant and free WiFi. This renovated hotel was a nice surprise, the rooms are big, with a balcony and stunning views. Very clean, excellent bedding, nice onsen baths and sauna with great views and amenities, and unlike onsen baths i have seen in some other places, these baths are recent and don’t have an outdated feel. There are vending machines selling ice cream for after the baths. Also super friendly staff. Good breakfast buffet with Western and Japanese choices and some fresh fruits (pineapple, orange). We didn’t use the pool but it looked lovely and clean. We will definitely stay here again when we return to the area. It is conveniently located for day trips to Arita, Hirado, Unzen, Nagasaki if you want to explore the area and stay in one accommodation. The only reason we didn’t stay longer is because it was booked out.
