The villa was spotless and had everything we needed. The private onsen was a dream after walking all over Tokyo, and the fireplace created a cozy cabin atmosphere in the forest. The Japanese breakfast was generous and delicious, and the multi-course dinner was equally outstanding. We didn't visit the public onsen (tattoos), but didn't feel like we missed out given we had our own in the villa. Izakaya (MONTA) in the nearby village was excellent. Staff handled reservation upon request, and drove us to and from. 10/10 — would absolutely book again!
