I have just spent the most amazing 24 hours at Island Tower Guesthouse. Coming from the other side of the world I was completely blown away with how the whole guesthouse was presented. I believe I had the privilege of being the first guest to stay in the newly decorated rooms. Each room is decorated completely differently in colour and paintings on the walls and ceilings. Just magical. The rooms are well appointed and the bed extremely comfortable . In the evening I went up to the rooftop restaurant which has the most amazing view over Lake Pichali. At dusk the sky is a mass of black as bats head to the countryside in search of food. The restaurant has a very relaxed inviting feel to it and one can enjoy tasty seasonal food cooked to your liking. The staff are friendly and helpful. I was up at 5am the next morning to be taken on a scooter to feed the lime green parrots who inhabit areas around the lake. Stunning.
