I had a fantastic stay at the County Arms Hotel in Birr this April. The room was absolutely fabulous — spacious, spotless, and beautifully maintained. The beds were large and incredibly comfortable, making for a great night’s sleep. I really appreciated the attention to detail, from the lovely in-room coffee to the excellent breakfast that was delivered straight to the room — a real treat to start the day. Everything about the stay felt comfortable and relaxing. I’d definitely recommend the County Arms Hotel to anyone visiting the area, and I’d happily stay again.

Renowned for its traditional Irish hospitality and extensive facilities, the Bridge House Hotel Leisure Club & Spa provides wonderful restaurants and bars on site, as well as a leisure club complete with a gym, swimming pool, hot tub, sauna, steam room and outdoor hot tub. The entire ambience of the hotel, staff were excellent and the room was great. Breakfast was really good.

Amazing experience. Room was spacious, quiet and the bed was very comfortable. The cooked breakfast was amazing. Frank and Claire were friendly and excellent hosts. Very easy experience checking in. The BnB in a great location. About 10-15 mins walk to the train station and to the main street in Tullamore

Mary and Val were great hosts and made me feel so welcome in their lovely home. The room was spacious and comfortable with luxurious bed and pillows! No TV in the room but lovely garden and reading material to enjoy. The light breakfast had plenty of variety, with fresh croissants, fruit and copious tea. I would highly recommend Acrewood.

The staff were very polite and the room spacious and elegant. The position was first rate with the castle at one end of the street, a church at the other and lovely Georgian houses in between. The breakfast was excellent with a wide range of choices. There was also plentiful safe free parking on the street outside. A walk in the castle grounds is recommended.
