The hotel`s Spa and Wellness centre features a Finnish and Turkish sauna, a hydromassage jacuzzi, indoor pool and fitness room, facial and body treatments and a selection of special massage techniques. Beautiful hotel on the seaside, rooms are renovated and very confortable. The swimming pool is not crowded (maybe because a bit cold). And very warm welcome from the staff especially at the reception.

You can enjoy various activities in the surroundings, including snorkeling, windsurfing and diving. The on-site spa area includes a sauna, hammam, pool and massages. Navis is a boutique hotel with only 44-rooms. We stayed in a 1-bed suite on the 4th floor which is the top floor. The room is spacious, has a king-size bed, industrial modern style furnishings and an outstanding view of the sea. We had a bottle of Prosecco, water and a lovely bowl of assorted fruit awaiting for us in the room. I chose to include breakfast with our stay and it was incredible. In addition to the breakfast buffet options like bread, cheese, cold cuts, cereal, assorted juices, coffee/cappuccino fruit cups, prosecco, etc. Navis offers a separate menu with prepared to order options like omelettes, Eggs Benedict, avocado toast, sausage, etc. also included. See menu photos I included in my review. Breakfast is incredible and the chef/kitchen is very accommodating in creating options for dietary restricted guests. We had two vegans out of five people in our group and both were happy with the dinner meals that were prepared for them and the food available for them at breakfast. Lastly, which was pretty cool, our family in Croatia was able to pick us up in their boat from the Navis dock. What was truly impressive is a Navis staff person came down from the hotel to assist with guiding the boat to the dock and lend a hand getting us into the boat safely.

I'd like to that Laura (host/receptionist) for being positively sneaky by booking us a room right next to our family that was also staying in the hotel (we did not make any plans beforehand).

Hotel Kvarner - Liburnia features an outdoor swimming pool and a beach. It offers free WiFi, an air-conditioned restaurant and a summer terrace above the sea. Guests can enjoy Angiolina Park next to the property. Room 309 was excellent, balcony size and views was fantastic. The location was great close to everthing, restaurants, bars cafe's , coastal walks. Breakfast was great, all staff were fantastic.

A special thanks to Sarah, whose recommendations were always spot-on and added real value to our stay. We also loved the social drink with the General Manager and other guests — a warm, convivial touch that made us feel even more welcome. Without hesitation, I highly recommend this hotel. Our dinner at The Moise was nothing short of extraordinary. A fine-dining experience that was contemporary and experimental, yet deeply rooted in the island’s heritage. The use of exceptional quality produce, sourced locally and prepared with bold creativity, resulted in dishes that were both innovative and emotionally connected to the territory. The quality of the ingredients, the creativity of the dishes, and the flawless guest experience were all at a Michelin-star level. The young and passionate team truly impressed us, with a sous-chef whose talent and dedication shine through in every plate. The wine pairing is a must — perfectly curated to elevate each course to new heights. Simply unforgettable, and an experience I would recommend to any food lover visiting Cres.

A Hidden Gem Brought to Life by Professional Management I recently stayed at the Keight Hilton in Opatija and was pleasantly surprised—truly a big, big surprise. The facility is elegant, well-operated, and reflects the standards you’d expect from an internationally managed brand like Hilton. Croatia has immense potential, but what it often lacks is consistent, professional hospitality management. This stay confirmed my belief: Croatia needs more facilities managed by international hotel groups. The difference in service quality, attention to detail, and overall experience is striking. With more properties operated at this level, Croatia could genuinely become a pearl of the Mediterranean, not just in beauty but also in service excellence. I liked the place. I liked how it ran. And I left convinced that this is the way forward.
