Buffet breakfast is served in the hotel restaurant. Super good: bed is huge and comfy, room is spacious, bathroom of a nice size, room is quiet and clean. Unobstructed sea view from the room (booked a sea-view room) . Classic style, high ceilings, nice little balcony. Great breakfast. Super friendly staff - they saw at the check in that my husband will have a birthday while we are in the hotel and they brought us a free bottle of a sparkling wine! So nice! Hotel has own parking, but also a nice parking place just 10 meters from the hotel. Price is quite the same (5 eur less for 2 days at a hotel). Location is super - short walk to everything in Opatija.

Guests can enjoy Angiolina Park next to the property. The hotel was gorgeous. You could feel its unique history and also its grandeur. It is obviously a special place and staying there, we felt special as well. The staff couldn't have been nicer or more helpful. It's worth staying here just for the excellent support they provided at check in, check out, and several other times when we had questions. We spent an afternoon just swimming, relaxing and enjoying the sea at the hotel beach and swimming pool, which were lovely. We also enjoyed walking along the promenade and exploring the town. All of the different rooms that people in my group stayed in were clean, elegantly decorated, and very nice overall. The one with the seaside view and balcony was something special, though. If you are wavering, reserve that and enjoy the view!
