The location was peaceful and the hotel was simply beautiful. We got to have our AMAZING breakfast in the shade while enjoying the view of the ocean every day. The staff were SUPER nice and friendly, they gave us local tips on beautiful beaches and even gave us apricots and plums to take back when we checked out. We know where to go when we need another relaxing vacation.

Amazing location surrounded by nature, with private sandy beach, beautiful pool area and amazing staff making you feel like most valuable guests. It was my birthday at time we were staying at the property - i was greeted with bottle of local Prosecco and local fruits. Within the whole stay we enjoyed attentive care and also privacy. Rooms are spacious, bed is huge and comfy.

Accommodation at Kastro Maini consists of well-furnished, spacious rooms with traditional iron beds. The private balconies have view to the gulf of Messiniakos or to the southern part of the Mount of Taygetos, called Sagias. I had a lovely room with a wonderful sea view which captured perfect sunsets so was very happy with that outlook. The room and bathroom were both an adequate size with a little balcony with excellent drying facilities for wet bathers. The pool and area around it were spacious and very relaxing. The gardens were beautifully maintained. Breakfast had a wide choice and all well presented. An excellent stay and won't hesitate to book again if in that area.

At the price we paid value for money is unbeatable. Excellent breakfast and friendly staff. We could park right in front of the hotel.

At the hotel's dining area a buffet breakfast with local flavours is served. The area is used as a restaurant for the rest of the day. Room was spotless, comfortable and huge, with nice and polite staff and fast check in/out. Housekeeping services was attentive, hotel had also a very clean and beautiful pool and the restaurant had delicious dishes. Hotel also had a fully equipped business center. The outdoor space can be used for events and celebrations. We went for hiking and cycling and it was fantastic, the area around the hotel was perfect for these activities.
