The sauna and jacuzzi were perfect after a long day and the pool was sparkling clean though we were too cold to swim. Perfect retreat. highly recommend.

The property is beautiful; falling asleep to the sound of the river is a dream. The surrounding countryside is stunning, and it is in a perfect location for visiting the two nearby thermal baths. The staff is extraordinarily kind and helpful. One of the best hotel breakfasts I’ve had for the price. Truly an all around pleasure.

Rooms at Hotel Sazagua are spacious and decorated with a mix of wood that creates a warm atmosphere. They are equipped with a TV and a ceiling fan and either includes a patio or a private balcony. Some rooms also have a hydromassage tub. This is a great retreat. So peaceful with attentive staff who provide excellent service from the minute you arrive until your departure. The food particularly the breakfast is excellent. We did a hike in Cocorro valley and a trip to a coffee farm. Both were arranged by the hotel and are highly recommended.
