Spa Hotels in Zanzibar City

Everything was perfect. We had so much fun with this beautiful facilities like pool, private beach, clean room. The stuff are very very nice and warm people.

This hotel represents the highest quality. Everything is new and well maintained. The villas are spacious and beautifully designed. Still, what makes it really special is the service and people that take care of you there. Thanks to their approach you can really enjoy the holiday knowing that they will remember not only your name but also your individual needs like for example diet. Here I would like to mention our individual assistant Beno who was the perfect organizer of our stay at this hotel. Thanks to him I feel we used every hour of our stay and tried everything we wanted. I recommend this place to everybody who wants to rest away from the crowds.

good Morden hotel and close to the airport

Nice, cozy place with a common living room for the family - very spacious, and private too. Love the ambience and privacy. And the restaurant serves good food too. 🤗🤗🤗

Breakfast was absolutely amazing, wonderful area to sit in and service was great. Loved the pool and the roof terrace. The house was lovingly restored with beautiful interior. Staff at reception very helpful, airport transfer on time and efficient.

Absolutely a lovely place. The garden with magnificent threes, the historical context and a lovely small beach. Nice rooms and very quiet. A bit lagging behind on maintenance but plans for upgrading. However the place is just lovely, and relatively close to Stowntown and airport which makes the location perfect. Felt like home and will definitely come back.

Reserving a room at Madinat Al Bahr was a smooth process. I proceeded to make a call to enquire about checking in early. A gentleman by the name Sebastian organized to have me picked up from the airport and allowed me to check in early which allowed me to have a much-needed rest after two days of travelling. At the reception I was greeted with warm smiles and the lady at the reception (Happy) checked me in without delays. Issa helped me to my room and showed me the executive room I had booked. The room surpassed all my expectations. It was roomy, light and very clean. The icing on the cake was the direct view of the hotels garden and the blue ocean from my room’s balcony. All the amenities that one might need on a trip away from home are included in the room. My first night at the hotel was very pleasant. I had the delight of meeting Sayed Aly on my way to breakfast the next day - a very charming, chatty gentleman who speaks. I enjoyed chatting with Aly during the meals - we both had a chance to practise the international languages we spoke (German, Russian and a little bit of Italian). I got the impression that Aly takes his time to learn the guests and preferences which really makes a stay at Madinat Al Bahr feel like a second home. The food was another highlight. A wide variety of local and international delicacies. The buffets were amazing. I was more interested in local delicacies which the hotel had enough of. The fruit variety felt like a special treat too. The pool is very clean and big enough. There are nough sun beds around the pool - one needs not worry about finding a spot to chill by the pool. The pool looks even prettier at night! The beach just infront of the hotel was nice too. I had a chance to chit chat with the locals and take some “diving lessons” from the kids swimming around. My stay lacked for nothing. Madinat Al Bahr is truly a gem on this beautiful island.

The room was awesome, clean, well equipped, had an excellent sea view. Breakfast was excellent every day, the swimming pool was very nice and clean, the staff very helpful and friendly and gardens around the hotel were refreshing to the eyes

Exceptional property with very high standards. Amazing location , beachfront right in stone town . amazing Breakfast and service all round . Would stay there anytime again when visiting Zanzibar Stone Town. can only recommend .
