Excellent hotel, excellent facilities and outstanding service of all staff without any exception. Staff from reception, housekeeping, bar and restaurant, the security make you feel like at home. We had to call an ambulance in the night due to a sudden illness and remained in the hospital for 36 hours and the support of hotel staff was remarkable. Under the management of the responsible/manager they all act in a very diligent and kind manner, took care of us, specially of our children, who stayed alone at the hotel, while we were at the hospital,… their care and honest interest made us all feeling like at home and in family. We frankly recommend this hotel for the location, facilities, food and service, and overall by their staff approach. Congratulations!

We have spent a fabulous week at Michamvi Sunset Bay and wished we could have stay longer. The resort was lovely -recently renovated, stunningly beautiful and just a perfect size to have enough space for all guests, while at the same time not feeling isolated. The rooms, restaurant, pool, all communal spaces and even the beach were all spotlessly clean. The beach bar is wonderful - the view is amazing and the drinks are great. Rooms are very spacious and are cleaned daily; all have private terraces or balconies - we have stayed in the ground floor which was very handy with 2 kids. We have opted for full board and have not regretted it for a moment, as the food was very tasty. Dinner is served in a different location every night. What really makes this place though is the staff- everyone was simply amazing, from the management through the reception, restaurant and bar staff, housekeeping, gardeners ... The whole team pampers the guests and makes them feel at home. Shirley cares about every detail and was always available to help with anything guests could need. Thank you for everything! We spent the last two nights of our honeymoon here and it was absolutely amazing. The hotel is calm, private and peaceful, with only six apartments, each offering a private pool and a stunning direct view of the ocean. The atmosphere is truly romantic and perfect for relaxing. The staff were wonderful, always smiling, attentive, and making sure everything was perfect. Breakfast was delicious, the service impeccable, and the location just 10 minutes from Paje makes it very convenient while still feeling secluded. It was very very big for just 2 of us, it’s just perfect pour a family of 4 or 5 They are planning to add two more apartments, but the construction is completely hidden and doesn’t disturb guests at all. A wonderful and unforgettable stay that we will always cherish!

After the safari adventure, we spent four unforgettable days at Zawadi Hotel in Zanzibar this September. Without a doubt, this is the best hotel we have ever stayed at, and it deserves every bit of praise. From the moment we arrived, we were struck by the sheer beauty of the property. The entire area feels like a slice of paradise, with lush, manicured gardens and vibrant flowers creating a tranquil oasis. Every detail is carefully attended to, making the surroundings feel magical. The villas were absolutely spotless and beautifully designed, offering the perfect blend of comfort and luxury. The highlight of our stay, however, was the food. Every meal was served à la carte, and each dish was excellent—imaginative, delicious, and prepared with great care. Dining at Zawadi was a true culinary delight. The staff at Zawadi set a new standard for hospitality. From the warm and welcoming reception team, especially the lovely Noura, to the attentive F&B staff and even the gardeners, everyone we encountered was genuinely kind and went above and beyond to make our stay exceptional. One of the most memorable experiences was the guided tour through the gardens, which was both informative and enjoyable (feeding the donkey was almosts as exciting as safari!). We also loved the little touches, like sundowners served in our villa and the creative gin and tonic menu. Zawadi Hotel is a place we will never forget. It’s more than a hotel—it’s an experience. We’re already dreaming of returning and cannot recommend it highly enough. If you’re looking for a slice of paradise, Zawadi is the place to be.
