Our room was spacious with a nice balcony and the bathroom was very large with a separate shower and bath tub. I loved the gym which was equipped with the newest TechnoGym workout stations. The property was just beautiful and we took long walks through quiet wooded areas. The spa was fantastic and the front desk immediately arranged for a free transportation anywhere on the property. A very unique and wonderful feature is that one never has to leave the property for world class dining. With two Michelin Star restaurants and several other great options for fine dining or more casual dining, this hotel truly stands out. The staff went beyond their call of duty to make our stay as pleasant as possible.

We LOVED the house, it was VERY well equipped with all the amenities that one would expect. The fact it was decorated as per the owners taste (and history) really made it feel EVEN MORE welcoming (NOT another cold or neutral AIRBNB.. with a minimal dab of art). Now note, it isn’t,a modern decoration with clean straight lines - it’s a getaway at your best friend’s parents’ house …if they were “Old Money” and classy!!

It really exceed our expectations because the price was really attractive so we decided to test for the first time a 5 star hotel. The view was stunning because we can see the different castles all the time, the two outdoor swimming pool were really beautiful to just stare at. The indoor pool and SPA were amazing, the staff were really nice. Really everything was perfect and the property was so huge ! I recommend to everyone this hotel

such a little beautiful pearl and so lovely, it is amazing for going out of town and be in a private environment. The landlords and the whole team is so nice and the wine very tasty :-)

Stunning villa. Exceptional interior. Let me explain: I booked CDF just because of the location and the affordable price. I was taken aback by the standard it offers. A very positive surprise. However, there have been some issues that came up during my short (dusk to dawn) stay that I would like to mention below.

We had a few issues with the room. Management quickly resolved them and compensated us, along with a bottle of wine, and a cheese platter. All staff were very professional and friendly. The restaurant had impeccable service and excellent food.

the whole set up is very well thought out
