The most beautiful and hospitable hotel ived visited globally , food excellent, staff superb , rooms clean . Food again I cannot rate highly enough. This hotel screams old English etiquette with a modern touch . Really one of the best hotels and I highly recommend. We are used to luxury in Dubai and this hotels service and the hotel its self didn’t disappoint!

Excellent hotel, wonderful room, decor and ambiance very pleasing. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Dinner was superb and well presented, with recommend wine to match. Breakfasts were amazing, a good choice of the finest Sri Lankan favourites.

We had a lovely stay at The Paulwood Cabana—it felt just like being in a cosy mountain cabin. The atmosphere was peaceful and quiet, especially at night, which made for such a relaxing experience. The bed was really comfortable, and to top it all off, we were treated to a sky full of stars. A beautiful and serene place to unwind in nature!

We had a wonderful stay and explored the city and surrounding hills by foot, since everything is easily reachable from the accommodation. It is located in a side street and therefore very quiet. They gave us nice warm blankets, so we had no problem with the colder temperatures at night. The host family was very hospitable and we had a tasty breakfast on our last day. Can totally recommend this place if you want to explore Nuwara Eliya.
