Excellent hotel. Very modern interior of a beautiful building. Upgraded to junior suite. Huge bathroom. Comfortable bed. Hotel pool in private garden was beautiful. The walled town was really lovely too. Had fabulous meals in restaurants close by.

I loved staying at this hotel! I stayed in the presidential suite and it was truly stunning with the private balcony, fancy hot tub and beautiful views. It was extremely clean. There was good attention to detail including wine and a fruit platter on arrival. It wasn’t exactly cheap, but for what you get, it is very good value. The staff are also excellent. Although their English is not always perfect, they are so kind and always looking to help. Breakfast was a little limited but still very good, especially when delivered to eat on the terrace of your room. When booking the suites you can book the sauna and steam room for exclusive access which was nice , and the garden and outdoor jacuzzi are just dreamy! Although facilities are not huge, it has a lovely boutique villa feel which is much nicer in a way.

Paulo the host is lovely and he owns the local Fornai Bakery. He gave us excellent advice on where to go like the Lake Vico and good restaurants. I highly recommend this venue.

The location is splendid, you are in the heart of the ancient “borgo”. Very nice terrace and common area for the guests.,The room is completely new and very clean. The bed is comfortable. Excellent view from the window. Very nice bathroom.

Breakfast was amazing with everything you could wish from the region including ham, salami, cured meat, etc. The staff was sooooo friendly and they pampered us soooo much! They asked at what time we wanted to come for breakfast because they would warm up the croissant for us per time in order to have them hot and soft for our breakfast! A DREAM!!

Absolutely stunning location where you feel you must pinch yourself to check you are really awake. I have lived and travelled in Italy for 10 years and this is my favourite place to stay. The spa was so rejuvenating, the finishes on the entire property are of the highest standard and the staff were impeccable. The restaurant is more like a fine dining experience. Every dish was delicious. The best was so comfortable that I awoke in the same position the next morning after a full night's uninterrupted rest! I woke to watch mist over the valley and then had a wonderful breakfast meeting with a friend in the gorgeous gardens. I love this place and will now bring my friends, family and clients here whenever they are in Italy.

Staff was extremely helpful. The room was quite warm as air conditioning wasn’t working yet so they changed our room to a cooler one We dined in the restaurant attached to hotel and it was delicious with some of the best waiting staff I’ve ever experienced. Definitely worth going back just for that
