The location was perfect with a train station just a stone throw away. The entire facility was amazingly beautiful and comfortable. The swimming pool was great for relaxing after a busy day. I loved the digital showers with neon lights(nice for showers karaoke 😂)and not to forget the hearty breakfast with various options. In summary the facilities and service was superb!

The hotel has all amenities needed for a pleasant stay. I personally apppreciated greatly the gym and the sauna. The gym is rather small, but through the high quality multi-purpose equipment allows for a good full body workout. The cherry on top however was the wellness area and the sauna, which were top-notch quality, spacious, clean and very cosy design, which supports full relaxation. The staff was also very friendly and made us feel at home.

We had a big bedroom with roll down shutters for a good night's sleep on an immense and comfortable bed. We had the new(?) and excellent sauna all to ourselves which was a real treat and as we were out of season we got a really good price.

Hotel Rodderhof is a charming and welcoming place to stay in the picturesque town of Ahrweiler. Our room was beautiful, with a stylish bedroom and a wonderfully comfortable bed. It’s also truly impressive how well the hotel has recovered after the devastating floods of 2021 — everything looks fresh, welcoming, and professionally restored. All in all, a great stay with a perfect mix of comfort, character, and convenience. Highly recommended for anyone visiting the Ahr Valley!
