Spa Hotels in Fortuna

With one small exception, absolutely everything! If you want to stay near Arenal and explore the rainforests around the volcano, this is the place to go and stay. Views are out of this world and accomodations are great. Loved their focus on sustainability and eco-tourism. We stayed for three nights but could easily have spent a week.

The minute that we entered the reception area we were greeted by the kindest sweetest staff ever !! It was truly amazing from beginning to end !! My friend was visiting from Canada and sadly needs a wheelchair to get around , I honestly could not believe how helpful and warm and kind everyone was ! The help we received regarding the wheelchair situation was top notch !!! When I say top notch I really mean it ! Our room was perfect as it was also wheelchair accessible!!! I was so worried if I was ever going to find a way to show my friend the Volcano while she was here , it was on the top of her list and if it where not for everyone at the Manoa Resort I don't think we could have done it ! Then let's talk about the spa " WOW " that's the only way to describe it ! We both had massages that sent us straight to heaven !!!! We were so relaxed we could barley keep our eyes open but we knew we had to get into the Mineral Springs lol well after that we ate a fabulous late lunch in the Springs area and ended up falling asleep at the table because we were so relaxed !!! I was so embarrassed hahaha ! I hope no one was looking lol ! Best Margiritas ever !!! I don't think either of us has ever had such an amazing sleep that night !!! Excellent breakfast buffet / everything you could ever want!!!! We had a perfect view of the Volcano from our room !!! We were only planning on staying 4 nights but because we just couldn't bring ourselves to pack our bags so we decided to stay another night !! Hahaha ! Then the most amazing gift came along , it was the Manager of the Lodge who was absolutely lovely in every way ! She was very pleased to hear we were staying another night and then she said she had been trying to make contact with us all day ? I'm thinking hummm , I couldn't figure out why ? Was it because we almost fell asleep in our lunches the day before Hahahaha!

The hot and cold pools exceptional, with lots of secluded areas for those who like peace and quiet. The chef salsa chicken was spectacular.

Location was so quiet and serene. Access to private trails on the property was awesome, saw lots of wildlife during early morning hikes. Being out on the mirador as the sun set and the jungle sounds came alive was so cool! Breakfast was large and amazing; staff was super friendly and accommodating. Kitchen was well stocked with single electric burner and lots of prep tools so that you could cook and eat meals there if desired; large refrigerator in room as well.

The hotel was lovely. Our room was stand-alone, with a private terrace and jacuzzi. Everything was very clean, and the reception and restaurant staff friendly and helpful. We frequently walked to the centre which took about 20 minutes.

Beautiful, stunning, really amazing place in the heart of the jungle. We loved these casitas. My husband owns an construction company and he was really amazed by chic and smart construction and detailed facilities. Wood, stone, glass ... nature in the nature. Also the surroundings, pools, restaurants (food was really delicious, thanks all of the staff), meditation area, wow. This is hotel type "must to come back". I wish, I want and hope it will not rain because this was the only thing I would like to change during our stay to be able to walk in the hotel forest trails. But this is also Cost Rica - rain and forest. Thank you ♥

Andres is a great host. He helped us with everything we needed, if it's with booking shuttles or getting us extra blankets and etc. The apartment was very clean, had an equipped kitchen and even some board games :)

Amazing place just outside La Fortuna. Really quiet, perfectly harmonized with Nature, without sacrificing comfortable amenities. Everything was great, from the lovely breakfast full of homemade delicacies, to the comfortable rooms and beautiful surroundings. Totally recommend it to everyone wanting to enjoy La Fortuna by day and have a peaceful place to rest at night.

The pools on the hotel area are great and it is very nice to have Iguanas and birds around. Very spacious little huts with no close neighbors. Very friendly staff. Also every chalet has a view to the Volcano from the front terrace.
