I appreciate the half board meal option. We had a full fridge for breakfast or snacks during the day followed by the dinner, served warmed( by the time we choose) . The wine and drinks were a nice touch. Beds are comfortable living room area is big that will fit all the guests. Parking is really easy and plenty for all the cars. It's close to Poiana Brașov by car.

The hosts were amazing - very friendly and welcoming. The property was also amazing - we arrived earlier than the standard check-in time as we were on the overnight train from Vienna and we were able to check-in when we arrived. Our room was very clean, generously sized and the WiFi worked well. We had a lovely continental breakfast and they offered us fried eggs cooked fresh to order. We only stayed one night as we were on route to a wedding in the hills but we did enjoy our stay very much. The location is up a steep narrow hill - and although it's walkable to Basov Old Town, Ubers are so reasonable that it's easy enough to just order a cab down the hill - I wouldn't recommend walking back up the hill unless you are training for a hill climbing competition! Just a warning - some taxi drivers are not keen on driving up the hill due to the very narrow, steep part - but there is a slightly longer way around that some of them do take.

They reserved a parking lot for us throughout our stay, which we are grateful. Room is spacious and clean. Our room has a great view over the Black Church. Breakfast was good too.

In the winter, free shuttles to the slopes and back depart every 5 minutes. The restaurant of the hotel, the room was nice, hotel is well organized, we went to ski on a free shuttle by the hotel, we also rented ski equipment by the hotel, basically everything you need the hotel has it .
