Stryn Ski Centre is 30 minutes’ drive away. Free parking is available at Hjelle Hotel. Lorentz, the owner, and the rest of the team is super friendly, we really felt at home here and would definitly recommend Hjelle Hotel. They also offer sauna (free) and a gym (50 NOK) which is very nice and very big.

All units in the hotel are fitted with a coffee machine. With a private bathroom equipped with a shower and a hairdryer, rooms at Elva Hotel also offer a mountain view. All guest rooms will provide guests with a fridge. Perfect location and exceptional view

Store Ringheim’s restaurant is open on most days and serves a variety of homemade meals. Guests also have the hotel bar in which to relax after a day out in the surrounding mountains. It also has a garden. This is a beautiful history place family owned. Everyone is very friendly and accommodating. A great sense of hospitality.

A seating area, dining area and flat-screen TV are featured in all two-floor cottages at Marifjøra Sjøbuer. Each cottage has a bathroom with a bathtub or shower. The place was spacious, cozy, and had everything we needed. The host was really nice. We loved spending time on the terrace right above the water and enjoyed Kafé Marifjøra, which is very close.

Communal facilities include a garden with playground and laundry facilities. Boats are available for rent on site. Staff can help arrange fishing, canoeing, skiing and other recreation.

Hiking and cross-country ski trails are found nearby, and a shop and gym are within 10 minutes’ walk. The place is bit outfield from the main roads and bigger village with food and shops. Place is very clean and host were nice and helpful. There are free boats and kayaks on place. We stayed in apartment that was on ground floor of hosts house, so we did hear communication, tv, kitchen. As for me , it did broke the outfield experience that I wanted((

If you would like to discover the area, hiking, skiing and cycling are possible in the surroundings. Amazing view. And Bjorn is very nice and supportive. A little demanding on cleaning of stuga during check out, but thats shows that stuga standard are very high and a well cleaned stuga is their prioroty for next guests.

The house was perfect in every way—cozy, beautifully maintained, and with the most stunning views over the mountains and lake. Waking up to this scenery felt like a dream. The host Jarle was incredibly welcoming and made us feel right at home, adding a personal touch that made our stay even more special. Everything exceeded our expectations, and we truly hope to return one day. Highly recommended to anyone visiting this amazing part of Norway!”

Very nice house close to the bus station. Some reviews said that there were no blinds and was missing a hair dryer but when I got there, all windows had blinds/curtains and hair dryer was stored in the bathroom. Overall, it was really pleasant to stay here.

Skiing, cycling and hiking are possible within the area, and A home away from home offers ski-to-door access. We loved staying in this house. We stayed only for 2 nights, but wish we could have stayed longer. The house is beautiful, well maintained, and has an amazing view. It was super clean and had all we needed, fully equipped kitchen, and plenty of towels. Beds were very comfortable, which is important to us. Also, you can completely darken the rooms, another big plus. The communication with hosts was perfect. They are very thoughtful and provided a list of attractions, restaurants, and hikes in the area. That was really useful since the area has so much to offer and it helped us choose the activities for our limited time there. We went to Briksdalsbreen glacier. The house is near a ski resort, so it must be a great place to stay in the winter. We highly recommend this house and the hosts.
