We absolutely loved our stay here. The staff were great and very informative about the location and transport options etc. An absolute must stay if you are near the area. The food was incredible for breakfast and dinner, very traditional and gorgeous meat. The private baths are the best we went in, the fact they are private is a massive plus. We had the best time here; thank you to all the staff! It is also really close to the bus station to get to the Kamikochi Valley.

Spacious rooms, very tastefully decorated in a minimalistic style. The private onsen was blissful. Food was excellent (although a bit pricey). The hotel is 5 minutes from the bus station, with connections to the main cities and to the Kamikoche park. Overall, highly recommended.

Very close to the bus station, we stopped here on our way from Matsumoto to Takayama. Japanese-style room (ryokan), on the table a Japanese tea set (a teapot and bowls) with good sencha tea is waiting. The available natural hot springs are a great place to rest and relax. Meals in an atmospheric atmosphere in a yakuta with haori. Dinner is really delicious, quite decent fine dining. Breakfast is equally good.

El Auberge Hidanomori, inaugurado en 2022, se encuentra en unas colinas tranquilas, a 10 minutos en transporte desde la estación JR de Takayama. The owner/chef and staffs were all incredibly welcoming. The feeling of total peace and serenity was indescribable. Also, the fact that there was no television in the room, lets you truly enjoy the nature that surrounds you.

El Yatsusankan Over 6 years old está situado a 6 minutos a pie de la estación de tren JR de Hidafurukawa y ofrece alojamiento de estilo tradicional japonés con baños públicos amplios. El Ryokan es una maravilla, fue mi mejor experiencia de Ryokan en un viaje de un mes por todo Japón. El cuarto con vista al Rio y al templo es una belleza. Apollon está ubicado en el distrito de Gujo Hachiman de Gujō, a 5 minutos a pie de Gujohachiman Rakugeikan, a 400 metros de Koko no mori Museum Yudokan y a 5 minutos a pie de Saito Art Museum. Beautiful location and view of the river from the room we stayed in. Friendly host. The property had all the necessary amenities and was of a good size.
