The 3-star guest house features quiet street views and is 15 km from Mt. Kusatsu Shirane. The guest house has parking on-site, a hot spring bath and a shared kitchen. Super clean, the room is very spacious, has two shared-but-private onsen baths (meaning you can lock it for your own use). Kitchen fully equipped with grill, microwave oven, pan stoves, dishes and cutlery, fridge. The toilets are shared but there are plenty in the inn. Kotatsu in the shared living room! Ayana san, the person taking care of the place, is super helpful and friendly (she gave me a lot of tips about the local baths, to contacting the bus station to make sure I got the right information for onward journey).

This 3-star ryokan offers luggage storage space and a housekeeping service. The breakfast was delicious. The staff brought the breakfast to our room. The hotel is across the street from the bus terminal. Lawson is next to the hotel and that makes shopping easy.

Miki (the host) is such a lovely woman. She is gracious and welcoming, and very excited to have you there. While I did not opt in to have the breakfast or dinner at the hotel, there are many options in the small town that you can find by wandering through the streets.

Each accommodation at the 4-star ryokan has mountain views, and guests can enjoy access to a hot spring bath and an open-air bath. The ryokan offers rooms with air conditioning, free private parking and free WiFi. Breakfast and dinner was superb. The experience and the food was wonderful. The room was comfortable, especially with the private onsen bath. Everything was really clean. Some staffs spoke english, which was a good bonus. There was a shuttle service, which was really appreciated. The communication was perfect.

Gozanoyu, a hot springs bath facility is a 2-minute walk away while Ohtakinoyu is a 7-minute walk from the property. Sainokawara open-air bath is a 15-minute walk or 5-minute drive from the property. Kusatsu Kokusai Ski Resort is 1.1 km from the property. At a convenient location outside the busy Yubatake area. The staff are very lovely, patient and kind. The place is well kept. The welcome sweets and breakfast are unique and delicious.

Spacious house with a great bath. Very comfortable. Unluckily we just stayed one night. We were a family of four people and we slept all so well. Many amenities in the bathroom.
