Just 250 metres from Zenko-ji Temple, Matsuya Ryokan offers simple Japanese rooms with tatami-mat floors, a green-tea maker and an attached Western bathroom. The hotel features public baths. The location was amazing and the staff treated us as family. It was wonderful, clean and cozy.

The lodge is modern, super comfy, and Akira along with the whole team were fantastic. Even though we visited at the end of the season and were the only guests, they made sure we had everything we needed. Every morning, they prepared breakfast just for us, and we absolutely looooved every dish. The location was perfect for exploring the area. Can’t wait to come back!

Situado a 21 km de Ryuoo Ski Park y a 32 km de Jigokudani Monkey Park, Snow Palace Nozawa cuenta con habitaciones en Nozawa Onsen. Modern, clean facilities. Exceptionally helpful staff! Even though it's a bit of a walk to the main gondola, the staff provided us with a ride every morning. Coming back home for the day it's only a few minutes from the slopes. Would certainly stay here again.

Andy and the staff at Dark Horse are helpful and friendly. The accommodation feels so cozy, it's a home away from home. I stayed in the hostel room and it's very clean and comfortable. There is even a TV in my little space that I could watch Youtube and Netflix on. They provide free transport to Happo-one, Goryu and Sanosaka ski resorts. If you want to go to the other ski resorts, the staff can drop you at Happo Bus Terminal where you can catch the free shuttle bus. Free breakfast is also provided.
