Sara is an incredible host who made the stay extra special: she's super kind, attentive, helpful, knowledgeable and clearly loves what she does. This is also reflected in the house: from the communal spaces to the rooms themselves you can tell a lot of love and care has gone into every detail, there's a lot of character as well as a very high standard of cleanliness. Breakfast is also delicious and locally sourced, and Sara adapted it for us being vegan. 100% recommended to anyone who's thinking about visiting the area, and we'll definitely choose to stay at Cuore Alpino next time we're there.

Contando con un jardín y una terraza, B&B Gottardo ofrece hospedaje en Airolo con WiFi gratis y vistas a la montaña. Estábamos de viaje por Europa en moto y el trato de Sabina fue inmejorable. La moto resguardada de la lluvia, una cama comodísima, el desayuno espectacular, el detalle de la galleta fue una grata sorpresa. Estamos encantados y lo vamos a recomendar a todos los moteros que quieran hacer noche en Airolo para atacar al día siguiente el famoso "9" de Suiza.

The house was real house, not a cheap made B&B house for rent. I respect the works they put in the house. The view was spectacular. The location is just wonderful in a small town above Locarno. They have parks, and a grocery store where they sell fresh pastry. There are cafes and reasonable restaurants in the area, too. Our kids went crazy using buses and cable cars to go back and forth between the Locarno city centre and the lake. Thank you!
