The view from my room — especially from the balcony — was absolutely breathtaking. I often just sat there in silence, taking it all in. The hotel strikes a perfect balance between comfort and charm. It felt cozy and welcoming, but still elegant. Traveling alone can sometimes feel awkward, but here I felt completely at ease. The staff were genuinely kind — always helpful, never intrusive — and made me feel like more than just a guest. Every morning started with a peaceful breakfast overlooking the lake, and every evening ended with a sunset that looked like something from a painting. I spent my days swimming, walking along the shore, hiking nearby trails, and simply enjoying the stillness. This place gave me exactly what I needed: space to breathe, think, and just be. It’s the kind of experience that stays with you — the kind that changes you a little. If you're considering a solo trip and need beauty, serenity, and a true escape — look no further. The Planai Stadium is only 500 metres from the Stadtvilla Schladming Boutiquehotel and is easily reached on foot. Skiing and hiking are among the activities that guests of the accommodation can find nearby. We really enjoyed our one-night stay at this great hotel, so much so that when we were in Schladming again two nights later we booked again. The rooms, while a bit small, are clean and comfortable and have everything you need for a short stay. The staff is incredibly welcoming and helpful, especially Barbara. When we left our sunglasses behind in the room she called and emailed us to let us know so we could retrieve them. We can't recommend this hotel enough!

IMLAUER Hotel Schloss Pichlarn is a family run hotel, situated on an elevation in the Ennstal valley in Styria, at the foot of the Grimming mountain massif. Free WiFi is available throughout the property and free private parking is offered. Most of all, I liked very kind, hospital and attentive team of the hotel. It is clear that there is very good management and they take care regarding their employees. The food is excellent, the breakfast is one of the best, which I ever had. The products are high quality and you can feel it. The dinner is also excellent, the service, everything.

Great place, the location is also amazing - beautiful view of the mountains and fog on them. I walked to the beautiful lake nearby to swim. That was an amazing stay. The kitchen was super clean and very cosy living room. So happy we chose this place for our stay!

The hosts were super friendly and accommodating — they helped me with anything I needed. The rooms are spacious and practical, with an amazing view over the valley. There's even a balcony to enjoy it from! One of those small touches that makes a big difference: they provide tea bags, coffee capsules, a kettle, and a coffee machine right in the room — way better than many hotels. The hotel is in a quiet part of town, ideally located at the start of some really nice walking and hiking trails. There's also a big parking area with enough space for all the guests, and you're just 5 minutes from the speedway. Breakfast was great — and if you're there at the right time, you can even have some nice chats with the hosts or other guests. I’ll definitely be back when I get the chance!
