En la planta baja hay un salón donde puedes coger lo necesario para el desayuno, puedes también encargar pan y bollería. Justo enfrente tienes el lago con acceso directo al agua. Y la ubicación, perfecta, entre Salzburgo y Hallstatt, en un pueblecito de cuento.

Este hotel tradicional ha sido gestionado por la misma familia desde hace 3 generaciones. Está situado al principio de la zona peatonal de St. Wolfgang y a orillas del lago Wolfgang. Ubicación perfecta. Habitación increiblemente amplia. Terraza con vistas al lago. La habitación era perfecta. Contentos con la estancia.

Situado en Obertraun, a 5.1 km de Museum Hallstatt, Haus Edelweiss cuenta con hospedaje con WiFi gratis y estacionamiento privado de cortesía. We stayed in Obertruan for 3N in late June 2025 as we read that it was still pretty, but quieter and cheaper than Hallstatt. It was an excellent choice indeed! We enjoyed our stay very much at Haus Edelweiss, an apartment with a separate bedroom that was 35 sq.mtrs, very comfortable size for 3. We walked easily from the train station to the apartment. It has a toilet with 3-in-1 shampoo/body/hand liquid gel, a fridge, electric stove, utensils, pots/pans. It has everything you need, everything is new and very clean, totally no dust! Love the coffee capsules and variety of teas provided. Host Nina is very sweet & helpful, taking the time to explain with a map where and how we could go to the places around Obertruan. We spent one day walking from Obertruan to Hallstatt. Along the way, we saw this stone path going up the hill and we went up (very do-able hike), and it led to a very beautiful view of Hallstatt! We then went down the other way and continued walking towards Hallstatt, explored the beautiful village and took the ferry (Euro 12/pax) back to Obertruan. Next day, we walked a loop from Obertruan to Koppenwinlsee. The walk was very lovely and we saw tiny red strawberries everywhere! There was a restaurant after Koppenwinslee but I think it was closed on Mon-Wed (please check), and other days open for lunch & dinner, so time yourself to make it in time for lunch/dinner. We were stopping so often to admire the scenery that we missed their lunch time! It is better to visit during non-summer to enjoy Austria. Also, many of the reasonably priced apartments do not have air-con including Haus Edelweiss, and those we stayed in Innsbruck & Zell Am See. At night the temperature will plunge so it is fine without an aircon, but you might get occasional traffic noise if the apartment is close to the road, so just bring along your ear plugs.

Tenía todo lo necesario, y se encuentra en un paraje espectacular con unas vistas a la montaña increíbles. La atención de Markus fue muy buena. Ideal para visitar la zona de Gosau, Hallstat, y alrededores El alojamiento tiene parking gratuito. Importante que no tiene ascensor y es una tercera planta, pero sino tienes problemas de movilidad no es ningún inconveniente

The overall look of the appartment (super modern, kitchen was equipped with everything), the position near all the lakes, and it was a bit secluded near the river, which made it nice and quiet to chill and relax. Just amazing.
