Koofan heritage house is amazing! It was built in 1880 and it retains its traditional character. It is built of thick stone and decorated in traditional furniture. It has modern conveniences such as air conditioning and fully functioning plumbing but still retains an old feel. The bed was exceptionally comfortable. However, if you are looking for luxury like a Hilton please don’t come here. It is for someone who wants a taste of the past. You eat a traditional breakfast in the morning across from the old fort and really get to know the employees. You get to meet the owner and feel like you are staying as a guest at his house.

The host Ahmed was spectacular, incredibly accommodating and hospitable. Great location to access nearby attractions like Jabal Shams and Al Hoota Cave. I'd highly recommend the nearby zoo in Al Naseem Park as well. The rooms were super clean and the place was comfortable. Highly recommend this place for travelers!

Ubicado en Mascate, a 10 km de Oman Intl Exhibition Center, Studio M Muscat tiene hospedaje con una alberca al aire libre, estacionamiento privado de cortesía, un gimnasio y una terraza. Instalaciones muy nuevas, modernas, muy cerca cerca del aeropuerto y en una buena zona de accedo fácil a la autovía principal, donde es facil coger taxis . Cerca hay tiendas, bancos, restaurantes y centros comerciales . El staff es amplio y muy majo, dispuesto a ayudar en lo que haga falta. Espero volver pronto.

Royal desert camp ofrece hospedaje en Al Raka. Hay estacionamiento privado de cortesía y el hospedaje cuenta con servicio de traslado al aeropuerto con costo adicional. Location is secluded, away from others, and much inside the desert. So you really get to feel living in the middle of a desert. The owner, Idris, is very humble and helpful with everything. The caretaker, Irfan, knew Hindi and possesses immense knowledge about the desert and Oman, he was a perfect guide for us. Don't miss the sunset walk with Irfan, once you reach the end on the other side and see the wadi, it's beautiful. They can also arrange for barbeque and bonfire if you like. Food is a little expensive, but then they have to go to the town to fetch most of the things, hence its justified.
