What a great place to stay! All very new and well equipped. The best kitchen I’ve seen on my trip. I stayed in one of the cabins with lake view, but I got really into the camping vibe because of this place. Just be aware you have to go outside to go to the bathroom/wash your hands - no sink in the cabin. Not a problem for me though.

Great value for money. The room is very comfortable and cozy. Good to be in the nature but still very close to Center (10 minutes by car). Inside the apartment, there is everything you need.

The property is in a vineyard and most rooms oversee a nice grape + tree + lake view. I stayed at Aoraki suite which is very spacious, clean and comfortable. There is daily complimentary cheese board - minibar, chips and a bottle of rose are also complimentary. I tried the “Trust the Chef” dinner at the estate which is very good. Quality food plus reasonably priced wine pairing / wine menu. Breakfast was good - continental plus a la carte. Last but not least, at the retreat suite there is a very nice lobby, infinity pool and hot tub.

The Spire Hotel is a stylish boutique hotel located in the heart of Queenstown. Just 2 minutes' walk from the shores of Lake Wakatipu, it offers rooms with free WiFi, a balcony and a gas fireplace.

Everything was amazing with our stay in the spire hotel. Firstly, the reception staff was really professional and helpful, she even initiated to help us decide on where to have for dinner and booked the table for us. Secondly, the room is massive, there’s even a separated section for the wardrobe. The water pressure is amazing, which is really important to us. The fireplace makes the room so warm and cozy. They have smart tv as well, with Netflix and YouTube installed. All their non alcoholic beverages at the minibar are complimentary. They serve amazing breakfast as well, not the buffet style, but ala carte, and you can choose to have it in your room or in the restaurant. We had dinner at their restaurant on our first night, the food was unexpectedly great, and the bill came so much more reasonable than other restaurants we went during the trip. Everything was just spectacular.

It’s cozy with good taste. The owner is down to earth and very easy to talk to like a good old friend. She pampers us well with free snacks in the lounge along with a bottle of wine and some liqueurs. The TV has a variety of channels and we spent a great deal in the lounge just to chill and watching the sun go down. Our room is spacious with fridge, kettle along with tea, coffee and delicious muffins. We also made good friend with Benji the dog. Our stay was a very enjoyable 3 nights. We were aware of the walk up and we made plan to walk down to town do our things, finish our meal early afternoon and walk up slowly, it was fine with us and a great way to walk off the big meal we had ;D
