Fantastic throughout. We've had so many great moments traveling Japan for two weeks and this was probably the best stay and the best dinner at the same time. Great onsen, nice to be able to share the experience with my wife. Fantastic breakfast. Huge and comfortable room. The staff was perfect and was easy going and spoke good English. Everything was nice I couldn't ask for more. Room fit for even 4 persons, the location was good we could walk to Miyagawa Morning Market and also to Takayama Station easily. Looking forward to revisiting :)

The location is quiet and comfortable to reach by train, the breakfast was really good as well as the staff service, the room has a nice smell of traditional tatami mats, there's even the possibility to book a private bath! Really great accomodation

The old japanese themed room was great. The yukata was really confy. The onsen (thermal bath) was AMAZING, you can go indoors or outdoors, and is opened almost all day. The staff was friendly and there are some restaurants nearby, one of them made a really good ramen.
