The house was comfortable. Located among private houses, the location was serene and a real retreat for a break.5 minutes by car to Tsugaike Kogen ski resort made it abreeze to drop off skiers and pick them up when done! The heating was perfect and never too drying and the washing machine and dryer was marvellous. The kitchen was fully equipped and we actually made dinner in the house as going out at night in the snow didnt sound appealing! Mr Kudo lives next door and always available if needed. he even ofered to drive us around.

-Incredible staff who really come out of their way to help you out with anything -Fantastic mix of classic Japanese-style hotel room and a public area + a bar downstairs to meet other people or to just read a book -Location is also as perfect as it can get, 10 metres from the shuttle stop and the bus terminal, walking distance from Happo-One and Happo ”downtown”, 100 metres from the convenience store Our extempore trip to Hakuba would have not been the same without staying here, special thanks to Tony, Peter and everyone else whose names I forgot. This property was giant! Amazing Japanese onsen, open kitchen and living room. A laundry room with ample space to store ski gear and clothes to dry over night. The customer service was wonderful! They reached out quickly once we booked to help my group coordinate ski rentals,rental car and give local advice on grocery stores and restaurants. This property come with a well equipped kitchen, fashioned to host groups of 8-10 guests. The lodging is a 5 minute drive from Happo base lift. Our group opted to rent a vehicle to get around the Hakuba area. A really nice place to relax during holiday and enjoy some skiing.

Mickey and Mary went above and beyond to show my partner and I the best of Hakuba. Not only did they introduce us to outstanding local restaurants and onsens—they offered transport to and from the places we were interested in exploring! If it weren't for Mickey's recommended timing for our Tsugaike Nature Park outing, we would have missed our window into the most phenomenal views I have seen during my three years in Japan. The property was excellent!! Everything we needed was available e.g mini kitchenette, laundry room. Taiyo, Rena and Sando were very helpful. Free shuttle was a plus point for us! We enjoyed our stay there so much!

The team was extremely hospitable. From arranging pick ups from check-in day/check-out day to daily visits to different fields by dropping us to the nearest bus stops. He also checked on us from time to time if everything was okay. As we chose a shared dorm, we were prepared for certain inconvenience, however, we were also fortunate that the people living in the shared dorm were real friendly and considerate, we even went skiing together. There was also a common room where guests were able to chill together. its not surprising why bohemians' shelter has an extremely high rating with repeated guests. the meals prepared by bianca & liam were great too!
