We arrived for a weekend. The hotel is in the small town, cafés, shops, restaurant is in walking distance. Breakfast and dinner is perfect. The staff was very nice too. I did not try the pool, but friends said it is okay too. The rooms are big enough with a small balcony.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. Everything was clean and tidy. I suggest everybody to have a dinner from their butcher's counter. Good food, a big amount for a low price. The breakfast was plentiful and delicious too.

Herzogberghof is on the hill above the small town (Kindberg) with amazing panorama to the valley and the opposite mountains. The owner and his family brought a new life to an old guesthouse. The rooms are renewed with their own force, deserves to be helped. You will feel like a homestay, they do everything to make you feel pleasantly. Not a five -star hotel, but prices neither are hotel prices. If you need a clean room with a beautiful view, great breakfast and friendly people not far (20 mins by car) from the Semmering ski-slopes, then Herzogberghof a perfect choice!
