This stay can really be called a home away from home. We were at home with the friendliness of the staff, the home-made breakfast and the room was just totally above what we expected. This home gave us the actual feeling of living in an Austrian village. Away from the hot spot tourist of Hallstatt. At night it became so quiet and peacefully. The home was refurbished with an amazing attention to detail. Everything was done so well. Congratulations to the owners of a job so well done.

From the moment you see the hut on the side of the mountain you feel a home from home. Relaxing, quiet (interspersed with the melodic sounds of cow bells) & comfortable. Bernhard & his team are like a welcoming family. Comfortable bunks, scrummy Austrian food & delicious homemade schnapps.
