The receptionist was exceptionally friendly and went out of her way to accommodate a last minute change to our booking which was totally my own fault. Not only did she help us on that account, but she also went above and beyond in all other aspects of our stay and all that despite being short on staff due to illness. Massive thank you for this! It’s the most lovely place to stay. The lovely people who work there make it a home from home. I love the way it is both in an old building but which still feels completely modern and comfortable.

The "Goldener Löwe" (“Golden Lion”) is situated in the centre of Kufstein, directly opposite the fortress, the symbol of the town, and only a few minutes’ walk from the train station.

My 2nd stay here and it is amazing, I will be returning again. The hotel has a home feeling and is taken care of with great attitude. The rooms are amazing, a great view from the balcony too. You can use sauna in the evenings or do yoga in the morning. All food is home-made and tastes incredible. 100% recommended, great area for hiking and resting among the mountains.
