This is really a top hotel. Modern rooms with safe inside, closets and perfect bathroom. They are really nicely sound proofed and they brag with that. We did not have breakfast, but the reception and the bar/resturant were well visited, so I assume people liked it there. It was a single night stay, so we could not fully enjoy the experience, but I would come back anytime for certain.

Beautiful hotel, well taken care of, big room with an incredible view over the pool and towards the dolomites. The hotel even has a small fitness room and sauna/wellness area. The owners were incredibly nice and accommodating and you could telll that they paid attention to all the little details which made the experience special.

Offering ski-to-door access right next to the Zettersfeld Cable Car, and 2.2 km from the centre of Lienz, Hotel Holunderhof provides free WiFi and a spa area which can be used free of charge.

Amazing stay in Lienz , the staff are friendly, welcoming and looking for your comfort. Room are large and the beds are comfortable We had dinner at the restaurant, I loved everything they presented and staff also friendly. Breakfast great especially with freshly baked croissants and pastries, they serve egg according to your request, the staff are nice since the offered chicken mortadella when we discovered that one is pork and we don't eat it and they prepared it next day They have spa but i didn't tried it due shortage of time I highly recommend this hotel

Very nice hotel which included breakfast with lots of choice. The evening meals we paid extra for were also of very good standard. The room overlooked the mountains and the ski lift which sadly wasn't in use on the days were there. There were lots of activities for children, though I think again just at the weekend. The hotel is quite isolated and ideal for walks this time of year. The spa facilities were also very good to retreat to after a long walk.

The view from the balcony is something that I have never seen before, it did not get boring at all. Included breakfast was also one of the best I’ve had, with so many options. Staff were all friendly. Even though I didn’t use the facilities, they had a wellness centre and pool. Room was good size and well provided for.

You can't get anything better in Lienz and beyond. The apartment is super central, super new, excellent value for money. The courtesy of the hosts is beyond expectations, something you rarely encounter. Everything is super well thought, every single detail from the tissues to the welcome kits and beyond. We even forgot one item in the apartment and the host immediately found a solution. We will have no hesitation to go back
