Certain rooms include views of the mountains, pool and the Caldera river which runs through the entire property. All have a private bathroom with a shower with hot water and certain toiletries provided, and also kitchen with gas grill. It's hard to know where to start. This is without doubt one of the best places I've ever stayed. The highlight being our conversations with Frank (the owner). He is the real life Indiana Jones and took an afternoon out of his spare time to show me and my two sons around the property. We went swimming with him up river and over his bridge to the jungle. He told us stories which can fill a lifetime. I feel.honored to have spent time with him, an absolute living legend. He taught my boys life lessons I could only dream of plus he found a Fer de Lance snake on his grass as be was talking to us which my son's thought was incredible. Now when my sons show a weakness about not wanting to help out around the house or do any work, I ask them "what would Frank do?" This makes them get right to it. The pool is great, the cabins superb and the place is so brilliantly created with nature surrounding it that you will be stumbling over huge cane toads at night and snakes during the day. Listen to Frank, don't wear flip flops! Come for the views and the river, stay for Frank.

Eibar, the owner and manager was very friendly and welcoming upon my arrival. Given my late arrival time and long drive from Panama city, he was also very accommodating by allowing me to fill in the registration information form and payment the next day. He quickly helped me with my luggage and took me to my cabin upon arrival and gave me a brief explanation regarding the numerous amenities found in the cabin and how the microwave, gas stove ( with oven :) and air-conditioning worked. He then provided me with a key fob that had the keys to the front and back doors as well as a button on it to open and close the entrance gate. Prior to my arrival, he had already noticed that I was staying for an additional 2 months and allocated me a beautiful, and very spacious cabin overlooking the nearby Baru Volcano. The Cabin was fully equipped with a large fridge and freezer compartment, micro wave, toaster, coffee maker, electric kettle, washing machine, and TV with ROKU streaming for Netflix, Apple TV and Spotify. Having a large overhead fan in the Kitchen/Living room, plus an overhead fan and air-conditioning in the very large bedroom with 2 double beds, wardrobe and bed side table. The outdoor patio, with look-out bench and scenic views of the Volcano and lush green forests surrounding it, BBQ and clothesline are an added bonus. There is a good size parking space right beside your cabin and if you don't have a car, there is a bus stop on the Highway to Boquete less than 300 m away where you can catch a local bus to Boquete that runs approximately every 45 minutes and costs about 75 cents. Apart from the excellent value for your money, the hospitality and generosity of your Hosts- Eibar and Lousa is exceptional. If you need anything just ask, including where and what to Do, See and personal recommendations on specific grocery stores, restaurants and cafes to visit.

Each room is unique (your room may differ slightly from photos), and is designed with Panamanian artwork and includes free wifi, smart tv with cable channels and luxury bed linen. The cabanas also offer either a kitchenette or full kitchen, all including microwave, fridge, coffee maker and more. Great garden with hundreds of birds. Nice breakfasts. Very good value for money.

The location is amazing, you can see the jungle and mountains. The shared kitchen and living room area is outstanding. It is so huge and nicely decorated. The kitchen is so modern. The rooms could have another shelf, but are very clean and everything is super modern! Communication with the host via WhatsApp was easy and they are very helpful. Just make sure to fill in all the forms (there are some, also by email), otherwise you don’t get the code for the house/room.
