The views are phenomenal and the room is very special with the glass fronts facing the beautiful mountain sights. The location is in walking distance from the city center and only 400-500 LKR with the tuk tuk on the way back (up a hill). Perfect for couples. The host was extremely friendly and offered a lot of help with transfers etc. Breakfast was also very good.

First of all, the guys who work there are amazing, very helpful, great cooks, they take care of the place and the people. We arrived very late, around 9pm, and it was no problem for them and they cooked us dinner. In addition, this beautiful balcony with a wonderful view and the sounds of nature in the evening. We sat on the balcony until late in the evening. I highly recommend this place. I will definitely stay there when I am in Sri Lanka.

This villa with mountain views has tiled floors, 1 bedroom and 1 bathroom with a walk-in shower, bidet and bathrobes. There is a seating area, a dining area and a kitchen complete with a minibar and kitchenware. For added privacy, the accommodation has a private entrance and soundproofing. Maduranga and his wife were exceptional hosts. They were both very warm, kind and friendly. I got caught in heavy rainfall and Maduranga offered to bring me an umbrella. His wife also made a home remedy for me to treat some insect bites that I had. The breakfast was abundant and varied and saw me through to way past lunchtime. The shower was excellent with hot water and the cleanliness of the room impeccable. A few days after my stay, he also checked in to see where I was and if I was ok. I highly recommend this homestay.

I cannot stress how important it is to stay here. The family that host are the warmest most kindest people. Amazing food is served by the owners + there are restaurants within 100m of the location. Ella is super cool like this. The town is very touristy & gross in my opinion, everything in the hills near blooming rose isn’t ha ! Walking the tracks down to town / the station is awesome also. The view. WOW. Just you wait !
