Sarah was a spectacular hostess, she went above and beyond for sure. We arrived to fresh brown bread, jams and all the makings for crisp sandwiches! Sarah also had some fresh fruits, milk and other bits. Everything was absolutely flawless, the kitchen and baths were well stocked, just such an adorable place. We loved all the special touches, and Sarah was so responsive through our trip. We will absolutely be visiting again!

We stayed there twice, one night at each end of our two-week holiday in Donegal. We found it a great place to spend our first night after a long flight to Dublin airport (which isn't too far away) and also for finishing off our trip in beautiful and relaxing surroundings. On previous trips to Ireland we'd stayed at other places in County Meath on our first and last nights and they had all been really good but Rathgillen Cabin has become our favourite. Peter, the host, is a very friendly and welcoming fella so we's love it if he'd come to stay with us at our home in Bulgaria some time. And the village has a handy shop, a great pub and a wonderful cafe where we had our final breakfast befor heading home. We were also delighted to discover that Nobber was the birthplace of the 17th Century blind harpist. Turlough O' Carolan whose music we've loved for a long time.

Monastery of Kells fica a 22 km de distância, St. The accommodation was excellent and well presented by householder Kevin, who met us on arrival. It also has a secure yard for parking. Less than three minute walk into the town Square, where one will find a pet friendly cafe, known as Ciara's Candy and cafe. Kevin has a pub as well, where your pet is welcome and the staff and locals are very friendly and helpful. We had a Totally relaxed break and even our cockapoo, Mitzi relaxed for a change, as she does not travel to well. A good base for traveling from. Definitely be back. We ended up staying here for one night and the staff went above and beyond for us! The back garden area was stunning and we have many beautiful flower pictures because of it! Thank you so much! ❤️
