The owner was kind, welcomed us and gave us a detailed room description. The room was clean and the owner's homemade cakes and bread were delicious. The setting of the cottage was nice, the view was beautiful and quiet, the cats were lovely. I would like to stay again!

This was our favourite stay during our holiday in New Zealand. The house was spacious and clean, facing the beautiful rolling hills that was similar to what you can find at Hobbiton. The host had provided everything that we needed like clean towels, breakfast and clean bedsheets. We were free to roam around the host's beautifully manicured garden. My 3 year old thoroughly enjoyed running barefooted on the soft green grass.

We recently had the pleasure of staying at Kaimai Sunset Bed & Breakfast, and it exceeded all our expectations. As a family of three, we felt incredibly welcomed from the moment we arrived. The charming guest house boasts stunning garden views and a cozy patio, providing a serene atmosphere that immediately put us at ease. Despite being a bit remote, the peaceful surroundings made us feel like we were miles away from the hustle and bustle of city life. Our accommodation was nothing short of exceptional. The air-conditioned guest house featured one bedroom, one bathroom, and all the amenities we could possibly need for a comfortable stay. From the plush bed linen and towels to the well-equipped kitchenette, every detail was thoughtfully curated to ensure our utmost comfort. The terrace with mountain views was the perfect spot to unwind and take in the breathtaking scenery. One of the highlights of our stay was the delicious breakfast prepared by our gracious hosts. We were delighted to find a variety of options to choose from, including fresh fruits that were a delightful touch. The hospitality extended to us made us feel truly special, and we couldn't have asked for a better start to our day. Overall, our time at Kaimai Sunset Bed & Breakfast was nothing short of magical. We stayed here before our visit to Hobbiton. It was about a 10 minute drive from here, which was perfect for the second breakfast tour. Everything was clean and comfortable. From our room we had a beautiful view of the countryside and the sunset.
