We were booked for three nights and hoped to see the Nothern lights, sadly they proved elusive. But there are many great spots around the grounds to take amazing photos of the lodges and the mountains. The food at Fangst was exceptional and the staff at the lodge were wonderful. Very approachable and friendly. Hillside hut number 8 had great views and was spacious. It’s just a short 5 minute walk to the local supermarket.

Having personally stayed in well over 20 places all across Norway this is definitely on of, if not the best I have stayed in. The value for money is unrivaled. The location is quiet but within easy reach of restaurants and supermarkets. The fit and finishing of the apartment is excellent, it has recently been renovated and it shows! The hosts are excellent and provided clear instructions and were quick to answer questions, even on new years’ eve! I can highly recommend anyone to stay here!

An absolutely beautiful and cosy little cottage. It was immaculately clean and very well and comfortably furnished. It is such a pretty and welcoming cottage with all the amenities we needed. What can I say about Astrid and Trond? Their home is pure magic! ✨ It’s not just perfect — it’s beyond perfect. From the very first moment, it felt like stepping into a dream: modern, elegant, cozy, and filled with so much love and attention to detail. They’ve truly thought of everything. The house is beautifully organised and equipped with everything you could ever need — and then some! The thoughtful little touches made it unforgettable: delicious teas and morning drinks, soft robes, handwritten notes, candles, and so many small details that made it feel like a five-star hotel (but with the warmth and soul of a real home). They even prepared a lovely guidebook explaining how everything works — such a thoughtful gesture that made our stay completely effortless. And as if all that wasn’t magical enough… I got to see the Northern Lights dancing right from the garden! It was an absolutely breathtaking moment I’ll never forget. 💫 Staying at Astrid and Trond’s place felt like being home — peaceful, beautiful, and full of heart. They are truly wonderful hosts, and I’d recommend their place to everyone looking for a stay that feels both luxurious and deeply special. 💛
