We really enjoyed this place. Warm welcome and discretion. They are really adorable couple and the flat is large and comfortable with 3 rooms and 2 bathrooms, not far from the city, in a residential area. Very good breakfast.

Short answer to what we liked is - everything. First of all - Fazly is a great host. From start on he was helpful with our plans and gave us ideas what to do or where to eat. We are travelling with our 5 month old and it was very comfortable to also have a chance to use the kitchen. Fazly even played with our daughter until we had breakfast, so we had a calm moment to ourselves. Level for the next accommodations on our journey will be high 😃 Oh! And Yogamats - getting your excercise done with that way - just amazing. We were sad to continue our journey as we would have loved to enjoy the sunset and chill on the balcony.

We came as a group to Kandy and our trip coincided with the Grand Randoli Perahera so to say the city was busy is an understatement . The Creek Edge Apartment was a little piece of paradise. located close to attractions like Helga’s Folly and the Sky Bar , we found it also a nice walk around the lake into the city centre. Our host was amazing, giving us some hot tips on where to eat and have a drink… hint hint The Hideout! The kitchen was fully set up for a longer stay although we had an amazing breakfast provided. Would be a great place to stay for a family as well. All the staff were super kind. It was fun when we got home because Anura and his family would ask us what we had been up to and we could recount our adventures. They also had friends visiting from overseas in the US so it was great to meet them too. It’s just a perfectly serene location so close to the hustle and bustle of the city centre. It was yet another highlight on our amazing holiday in the beautiful Sri Lanka. thank you so much for your hospitality and I hope you like how we added to your key chain haha! Ayubowan!

The decoration and design of the house is outstanding The location and the view is amazing Only 5 to 10 minutes to Kandy city by Tuk Tuk and yet feeling like in the country side I would definitely recommend this place to my friends Best value for money !

This was truly a hidden gem, we loved everything about our stay at Kandy River Lodge. The apartment was spotless with essentials for cooking if required. The view of the river from the balcony was beautiful. The host had water bottles tea and coffee available to us and offered us a complimentary transport from the train station. The host was available to help with any requests and very responsive. If you are staying in Kandy I would definitely recommend staying at Kandy River Lodge. If we get the opportunity to come back to Kandy we would definitely book again
