I felt at home from the moments I stepped in the Garden House! Immaculate clean apartment, very large space. The hostess is the warmest person I have met in the whole SE Asia. She has hired very service minded staff and they are always ready to help. I got so much better service than if I had checked in a regular hotel. We really appreciate we were assigned a ground floor apartment so my husband didn’t have to climb many stairs with his bad knees. We also have been served the best breakfast we have had in whole Laos. Delicious and always freshly made. Homemade jams and homemade soy milk! We couldn’t ask for more. Definitely a place to recommend to everyone I know. P.S. you are welcome to pick fruits and veggies from the garden - it is a lovely thing we were allowed to do.

the location is perfect (only sometimes the drums from the temple will wake you up very early in the morning). The house itself is very cozy and comfortable. I was working remotely in the living room with aircon and a big table. Almost everything is within walking distance and very quiet at night. Highly recommended place to stay :-)

Sokview Residence is a brand new apartment building sitting right on the Mekong bank a short walk or ride out of the city center. We have been to Luang Prabang several times and as far as we can see this place is the only one around that features contemporary design and amenities. We stayed here for almost three weeks and to be clear: It was GREAT! Our apartment was very nice! Practical, clean, full kitchen, washing machine etc etc. Add to that a full 180 view of the Mekong river from your balcony. The staff was polite and helpfull and the owner (that can be reached by QR codes to SoMe posted on the wall) was friendly and accommodating. The Sokview rates are cheaper than most hotels in LP, so this is really a no-brainer. This is the place to stay in wonderful Luang Prabang. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Friendly staff, helped us organise the train to Vang Vieng. Nice breakfast. Room was big and clean. Comfortable beds. Good location a street away from the Mekong. No kettle in the room but free tea and coffee in reception.
