Even after reading all the previous, raving reviews, we were still very positively surprised - the apartment really has more than everything we could possibly need. Another “magical” plus, even with self-check in & out (by definition cold and person-less), Lucy somehow made it have a human touch. For future guests: you can believe the fantastic reviews here, they’re really true!

(+) very friendly staff, the check-in was quick and flexible (+) location is just perfect, close to everything (+) the kitchen / dining area is great, lots of space and every equipment you might need for cooking. hint: try to avoid the rooms next to the kitchen area, great views but you also get all the smells and noise from the kitchen.

Location was fine for us as we were studying birds on S side of Snæfellsness and in Myar. We never got time to use the hot tub! We did wonder why it is constant at 40c, especially as the lid is damaged and insulation probably full of water so cannot insulate much - maybe it is natural hot water?
