This guesthouse in simply amazing. Sincerely speaking, you can really feel the passion and the open minded mentality this place is run with! The location is breathtaking: 20 km from Akureiry, facing the sea and a small port. Pure peace, pure magic. You can really see the house is the owner's home as well, they gave their touch to the room and to the common areas as well. We stayed in Europe (name of the room), which was actually perfect for us: next to the bathroom, very cozy, with a big bed and double curtains on the windows o protect us from the sun (even though we live in Iceland so we are kinda use to the Icelandic summer sun!). We didn't use the breakfast service (you can purchase the ingredients you need to make your own brekfast), but we enjoyed the free coffee before leaving. The kitchen has all the necessary and more! Great value for money, lovely lovely staff, we were impressed!

The location is AMAZING and the little house makes you feel you are in a fairy tail. Even if we didn't get much in contact with the owner, check in and out was simple and easy. Very clean facility and is highly recommended for anyone who wants to clear his or hers mind of city noise.

The quiet and cosy cabin, sitting in the warm cabin in the serene forests was just magical. As it was snowing heavily at Akureyri in the middle of March, we decided to spend most of our day here. Enjoyed the hot tub in the forest.

Beautiful view over the fjord, we even saw whales from the living room of the apartment! There’s a washing machine and drier - super handy! The apartment is perfect in size, and there are some board games available as well. Would recommend to stay here.

    very cozy and comfortable room, although with a shared bathroom and kitchen but we had it almost for ourselves. we felt as if we were sleeping at home. the room was furnish with a great taste, everything matched, the host put lots of atention to get everything on place. the kitchen was equipped very well, the hot tube was clean and really hot. very friendly and beautiful cat. 20 minutes away from Dalvik.

    It was clean, comfortable. Kitchen well equipped. And all amenities available. Bathroom had everything. Excellent stay. Owner did his best to maintain the place and made all efforts to give comfort to the travelers.

    Nice position on the side of the fjord, with a nice view, also on the old fish factory. Small kitchen, but well-equipped. Hot tubes for the host! Close to whale watching tours and Akureiri.

    The kitchen was well stocked to make your own breakfast / meals & each room has their own space allocated in the fridge. Slippers are provided to wear in the house, with a rack to leave your outdoor shoes. Bathroom is nicely decorated & towels are lovey & thick.
