Bed was comfortable, sofa, nice eating area on patio. Location was reasonably central to Katapola port. A good supermarket was 5-10 mins walk, a little steep hill back. The port was 10-15 mins walk, again, just a little steep on the way back. It didn't bother us. The views over the bay from the balcony are so beautiful - we couldn't stop looking! And it's super central, near all the restaurants and bars, the beach, and a great base for the stunning hikes on the island. The hotel owner was super friendly and helpful, responsive to our messages. And the room was spacious, clean, and had everything you need to do some cooking in the mini kitchen. It's about 100 yards from the nearest car park with only 19 shallow steps between the car park and the house. The courtyard is appealing.
