Clean and spacious home right in the centre of Kirkwall with everything one might need for a short break on the island. The host was friendly, helpful and responsive. We really enjoyed our stay and would recommend staying here to others.

Fantastic stay here, the perfect place to explore Orkney from. Dorothy was wonderful and ensured everything was well organised, clean and comfortable. The hot tub was fantastic after exploring outdoors on the colder, windier days. A short drive to Kirkwall township in a quiet setting. Highly recommended!

This is a gem of an apartment. We never expected it to be so beautiful, new and just perfect. Ellen is a very kind and generous host. She contacted us before we arrived to let us know that although breakfast was not included, she would provide the basics. We even found fruit and fresh free-range eggs, which was such a treat. The apartment is in a building of its own. It is quiet, extremely well-equipped and cosy - we would have loved to stay longer. We cannot recommend it highly enough. This was the biggest surprise of our trip as we never expected it to be so perfect :-). Thank you, Ellen, for a wonderful stay!

The location was spot on for touring the Orkneys. The accommodation was well appointed. It was very clean, the beds were comfortable, and it was warm and cozy. The Orkney treats left by Victoria were a nice surprise. We loved it all!!

    The property is ideal for a couple. It is compact but comfy. There is a small modern kitchen area, a small table to eat at and a two seater settee all in the same room. The bed was comfortable and the power shower in the en-suite was excellent. The location was ideal as well, 15 minutes from both St Margaret’s Hope and Kirkwall.

    The accommodation was amazing. Everything was done to the highest standard and felt so luxurious. Everything we could possibly need was provided for us. The shower was amazing - it got so hot and was so powerful. The bed was really comfy and the bedding was really soft. The hosts were really friendly/communicative and left us milk, bread and butter. The kitchen was much better than the one we have at home. I could quite happily have lived here!
