The accommodation is a well equipped studio in a very quiet and remote area outside of the little village Los Planes. We enjoyed having breakfast on the terrace with watching and listening to many different birds. There is a good panaderia (Cielo y tierra) in Los Planes. Only 5-10 minutes by car away is gorgeous Las Caletas beach. From there you can also make a beautiful hike to Drake Bay or/and San Josecito bay which we can highly recommend. We also walked to the rainforest platform of the owner's father which was a very particular experience.

Absolutely everything! The cabaña we stayed in was very cosy and every single detail was very well thought of. The view on the woods is calming and relaxing. You’re completely immersed in nature: from the balcony we saw monkeys, toucans and agoutis. Two frogs crossed our path when going back at night. The room and the kitchen were spotless! Last but not least, Sebastián is an incredible host: friendly, available and very nice. You can tell he genuinely enjoys hosting people and sharing tips and information about this and other beautiful areas of Costa Rica.

Calm place out of the crowd, with nice jungle view. We could spot some birds and monkeys. Family owners are kind and helpful, including the little talkative cute girl.

Javier and his girlfriend are really nice and the room was cozy. Everything is nicely decorated and it's possible to use the kitchen and common areas even in heavy rain! Everything is clean, great breakfast, walking distance everywhere. We definitely recommend staying here! You can also book different tours with Javier.

Great place to stay at Drake. Very easy to get to, close to everything. Staff super friendly and attentive and the place is very clean and has everything you need for your stay

Great spot, right at the beach. You can hear the waves at night. Ana and Gio are great hosts. They gave us nice advice about things to do. The co-living in the house went very smooth. The bed was very big and comfortabel. We slept downstairs. Ana was so kind to bring some forgotten clothes all the way to San Isidro. Thank you both so much :). The location and setting was beautiful with nature right on your doorstep. You could see the ocean and hear the waves on the beach. Fresh fruit was picked from the garden and given to us by the hosts.

Gringo and his family are the best hosts we had in Costa Rica. We had a wonderfull 4 night stay in one of the cabins. The accommodation was cleaned every day. Their recommended tours were great and they helped making the reservation for everything. The kitchen is functional. Nice balcony. Bed was ok. Nice and quiet area.
