Although we didn’t get to see Mount Fuji due to the weather, the overall experience and service were outstanding. The traditional Japanese-style dinner deserves special praise, as does the impeccable service.

The staffs are very warm They treat us like family, they try their best to provide our need.

Every room comes with a balcony with garden views. We liked how the hotel staff received us, the dinner, the breakfast, the onsen, the garden, the room itself, the toilet, everything was top-notch.

Really nice view to the lake and Mount Fuji. The staff is super nice!

At the ryokan, each unit has a tatami. Some accommodation includes a terrace with garden views, a fully equipped kitchen and a private bathroom with bidet. The units are equipped with heating facilities. The stuff is friendly, the facility is clean and beautiful. It's a bit far from Minobu station, but you can travel here from Shinjuku Bus terminal or on local bus from Minobu station, so I can't say it's a problem. Moreover, it's located near Minobu mountain and several temples, which is very convenient.

The hot springs were excellent, and because the ryokan is small, the experience is more akin to a private hot spring bath. The delicious breakfast makes an early morning hot spring bath even better. The decor is quite impressive. There are numerous detailed crafts and artworks, ranging from zodiac animal sculptures to the ryokan's own calligraphy pieces.
