Idealmente ubicado en el distrito de Owani Onsen de Ōwani, Historical Ryokan SENYUKAN está establecido a 43 km de Sannai-Maruyama site, a 17 km de Hirosaki Castle y a 42 km de Sukayu Onsen. El hotel es una experiencia japonesa con todas sus letras. Kikuchi fue muy amable en todo, como también todo el personal, quienes intentan hablar contigo en inglés y son muy atentos. Nos esperaron con una cena que si bien hay que pagar, merece totalmente la pena: es llenadora y gratificante, además de tener productos típicos de la zona. Tuvimos un problema con nuestro siguiente hotel y el traslado, y desinteresamente nos ayudaron a solucionarlo. El onsen, una maravilla: con unos azulejos hermosos y una verdadera atmosfera de estar en el más puro Japón. Puedes compartir con los otros huéspedes y disfrutar de los espacios comunes sin problemas. Las habitaciones son cómodas, temperadas, y además entregan haori abrigadores para el frío! Aunque es algo alejado, vale totalmente la pena ir!

Situado en Kuroishi, a 33 km de Lake Towada, Tabinoyado Saikawa cuenta con hospedaje con WiFi gratis y estacionamiento privado de cortesía. This is a traditional Japanese ryokan with public baths (gender separated). Dinner and breakfast are amazing and plentiful, with locally sourced organic produce (even coffee!). Our room (Japanese room with private toilet) was to the left of the entrance. It was very spacious. The heater worked very well as autumn night was a bit damp and cold. The beds are futons on wood bed frames on tatami, and they are super comfortable. As I have a whole-leg tattoo which is usually not permitted in the public baths, I notified Ranko in advance, and she reserved the private bath for us. The private bath was a very beautiful blue ceramic bath filled with warm (I don’t think it’s very hot) healing hot spring water from the area. Ranko’s warm personality really made the stay memorable. Be sure to ask her for recommendations of the areas. She is a well of knowledge of the area!

Ubicado en Tsuruoka, a 3.5 km de Kamo Aquarium, Kameya Hotel tiene hospedaje con un jardín y estacionamiento privado de cortesía. Amazing Hotel, even though it is a very traditional and old place, the rooms are very modern and renovated with all the amenities one can think of. Onsen is good too, but very hot. The beach is literally just across the road! The rooms all have an ocean view. Staff is extremely friendly and breakfast is also great. Just watch out to book dinner if possible, as there are not many options to eat around town if you don’t want to take the car.

Situado en Tendō, a 30 km de Zao Onsen, Ichiraku tendo spa & brewery cuenta con hospedaje con un jardín, estacionamiento privado de cortesía, un salón compartido y una terraza. Great all inclusive especially for beer enthusiasts. The room had a lot of space even with the futons laid out. We enjoyed the open air bath in the room and the private onsen. The meals were fantastic especially the dinners.

Yuze Hotel está establecido en Kazuno, en el distrito de Yuze Onsen. This place! I cannot describe how amazing the room with private onsen is. Super spacious and comfortable, with a stunning view to the mountains. Breakfast and dinner were delicious (buffet style), enough vegetarian options. There's a free drink bar available for the afternoon/evening hours as well. I didn't use the public bath because they don't allow visible tattoo's though.

Takasagoya Ryokan está situado en Zao Onsen. El ryokan de 3 estrellas tiene habitaciones climatizadas con un baño compartido y WiFi gratis. Warmest accommodations I’ve ever received. I loved every aspect of the place - sleeping, living, dining, showering, onsen, accessibility to the slopes. This is a beautiful place! The owners were very nice and they were very forgiving of our mistakes and helped out with our request.

El Okawaso ofrece alojamiento en Aizuwakamatsu, a 13 km de Aizu Higashiyama Onsen, y cuenta con WiFi gratuita y restaurante. Todas las habitaciones de este ryokan tienen aire acondicionado y TV. We wanted to visit the so-called Demon Slayer castle hotel. It’s out of the way so we rented a car rather than take transit. The drive itself was four hours from Tokyo. From the parking lot staff, to front desk, housekeeping and everyone there… the staff were all amazingly kind and patient. Not everyone speaks English, but there are a few. The rooms are spacious, clean, and very ryokan style (tatami) and the onsen was super clean. We had Kaiseki dinner and it was quite the experience. Food was delicious at dinner and the buffet lunch was traditionally Japanese. The stand out for us was the AIZU yogurt and AIZU maple syrup made from local chestnut trees. If anyone at Ookawaso reads this, please accept our thank you. You were all wonderful and we hope to visit from Canada again someday. Thank you for your patience with my eight year old son and our horrible Japanese.

Tokinenoyado Yunushi Ichijoh is situated in the Kamasaki Onsen district in Shiroishi, a 15-minute drive from Shiroishi Station and Shiroishi-Zao Station. Excellent hospitality and amazing dinner and breakfast, you cannot be disappointed

Situado en Senboku, a 7.6 km de Nyuto Hot Spring, Aoni Sanso cuenta con hospedaje con un jardín, estacionamiento privado de cortesía, un salón compartido y un restaurante. Nice place, nice onsen, good food! But you need a car to get to it!

El Hohoemino Kuyufu Tsuruya ofrece baños termales naturales y se encuentra a 15 minutos a pie de la estación JR de Tendo y a 50 km de Sendai. Es el mejor alojamiento en el que he estado en mi vida. Describe de una manera práctica el estilo de vida japonés, en el cual tratan de ir siempre un paso adelante, siempre fijándose en los detalles para que uno esté a gusto durante sus días de estancia. El personal es muy atento, instalaciones impecables, cómodo y muy lindo. Los baños termales son maravillosos, es una maravilla llegar después de un día a este baño y relajarse. Muchas gracias!
