Staff are very helpful and attentive to our needs. The outdoor onsen section is excellent. Overall ambience of is great given that it’s located by a stream.

Shikinosato Hanamura fornece acomodação com jardim, estacionamento privativo grátis e terraço em Minamioguni. Monte Aso fica a 39 km de distância. We are so pleasantly surprised that the hotel prepared the room (clothing and shoes) according to the occupants.

Em Aso, Minshuku Asogen conta com acomodação com jardim e Wi-Fi grátis, além de estacionamento privativo grátis para quem decidir vir de carro. I can only rate this place as 10/10. It's what you would expect from a Ryokan, and more. Specifically, i'd say two things are better than other great Ryokan, the onsen (private suites with windows that can be opened to "transform" the main room into a rotemburo at will) and the kaiseki dinner, where chu-toro, basashi and marbled beef were on the menu. Apart from an extensive sake menu. Other than that, the owners / team managing it are super nice and helpful. Perfect place to enjoy before/after an Aso trek.

O Kurokawa Onsen Yama no Yado Shinmeikan dispõe de 5 banheiras de água termal, incluindo uma banheira de caverna de 30 m2. 10/10 everything was amazing! The place the food the staff and the baths! They even tried to accommodate our needs, as muslims, as much as possible ❤️ would recommend, would go again 👍 Thank you very much.

Located in the centre of Kurokawa Onsen, Oyado Noshiyu offers outdoor and indoor hot-spring baths, Japanese-style accommodations and a traditional teahouse. We stayed in Shion room which was really special with a stove in the living room, a foot bath room and indoor bath. The outdoor public bath was really good too, and not crowded at all in the morning. The service provided by all the staff was very welcoming, making us feel relax and comfortable. Really enjoy the stay.

Localizado em Minami Aso, na região de Kumamoto, a 10 km de Naka-dake, o Hotel Yumeshizuku dispõe de banheira de água termal e sauna. Let me start with an advise; when you come to Japan go to Kyushu and stay in this hotel. My wife and I enjoy our last evening here (we stayed 5 nights) and this hotel is excellent. The location, the room (we stayed in the suite), the food, but most of all the excellent staff. The staff make you feel welcome, the service is warm and personal, yet professional at the same time. They know who you are from the moment you arrive. One of the best performances we experienced and we travel a lot. My wife has a rare allergy and they provided special meals for here. Exceptional. The hotel is also very clean and is recently renovated. The onsen in the room and the public one are comfortabel / beautiful. The location is perfect to visit Mount Aso, Kumamoto, Beppu, Oita, Takachiho gorge et cetera. Can’t recommend this place enough!

Situado no centro da área de Kurokawa Onsen e com um total de 8 banheiras de água termal cobertas/ao ar livre, o Nanjoen oferece acomodações tradicionais em estilo japonês com tatame (tecido de palha)... Gorgeous traditional ryokan, with beautifully appointed rooms—we had one of the en-suite onsen baths, and I highly recommend it! The dinners and breakfasts were sumptuous and almost too much food, all very delicious. The staff is friendly, impeccable, and very helpful. The area itself is also lovely, with plenty of shops and nearby onsens to explore.

O Fumoto Ryokan oferece acomodações tradicionais em estilo japonês com um charme histórico, além de várias banheiras de água termal cobertas e ao ar livre. Private, traditional, clean. Perfect service. Fumoto Ryokan always cater to our needs even before our arrival. Most of their onsen are private rooms so it is very nice for small groups like us who appreciate getting our own space. One of the highlight would be the meals, loved everything they serve here, they also have selections of beers and other alcohol, try their local beers! They are also strategically located in the center of Kurokawa so it is easy to explore the town.
