Only some rooms include a balcony, tatami floors, and free toiletries. Beautiful ryokan with a private onsen. Perfect location. We had beautiful room with everything we needed and with a beautiful view. The staff was very kind and helpful. I wanted especially thank to the guy that carried our (heavy) suitcases and then called the “car romance” and rescheduled our train. :-) Happy New Year, team !

Onsen area was really nice. The shop near the lobby was useful Beautiful footbath area, enjoying an icecream there was a highlight with the view while soaking my feet after breakfast was a highlight

The property boasts views of Tonomine, Myojogatake and Mount Asama. Free WiFi is available throughout the property. Loved every moment of our stay. The location was beautiful amongst the trees. Air-conditioned rooms feature a tatami (woven-straw) floor, on which traditional futon bedding is spread to sleep in. Amenities include an LCD TV, fridge, a safe and yukata robes. All rooms have a private toilet and washbasin, while bathroom facilities are shared. Green tea sets with snacks are provided. Clean, good staff, and even if I was late twice for dining and onsen they warmly accommodated me

The en suite bathroom comes with toiletries and a bathtub. Such a wonderful experience. The private onsen on our balcony and breakfast were highlights. We are travelling with our 11-month-old and they were so considerate! Provided a diaper bin and a high chair (!!) and utensils for the baby. Excellent place to start our honeymoon.

Main Dining Room "The Fujiya" serves French cuisine in an elegant space. Restaurant Cascade offers Western dishes, while Kikka-so serves traditional Japanese kaiseki dinners. A bar, lounge and bakery are available. Super beautiful hotel with big spacious rooms, great furtniture and amazing view on forest ( from our room ) . The staff was super nice and helpfull we would come back for sure.

Our room was spacious with stunning views. The indoor onsen was beautiful, looking out into the forest and the open-air onsen was serene and private, with a bank of wild lilies that made it smell wonderful. Staff were incredibly sweet and helpful. We especially enjoyed sitting in the shared lounge, choosing which of their wide selection of vinyls to listen to.
