I loved the design, the location, but most of all - the wonderful staff & delicious food, beautiful garden! We have been travelling for 3 weeks and staying at various beautiful places, but SOKI Atami is without a doubt, the best! I look forward to returning soon before we leave for home.

Wow. The entire facility was amazing and easy to find. The staff were very kind and helpful with directions and help. The room quarters and shared lounge were the best I've experienced in a guest house environment. The Onsen was phenomenal, the outside in particular was beautiful especially early morning when it first opens. The view from the guest house after/during the rain is magnificent, you can watch the mist roll off the mountains

Very nice, very clean, new and very well furnished. Spaceous room. You have yukatas which can be weared everywhere in the hotel (even at dinner!), a pair of Japanese socks and a cute tea set in the rooms. Comfortable fouton beds and pillows. Dinner is a special Japanese experience - do not miss it!!! Very tasty and with an exceptional attentive service! Breakfast is also good in the same stile (although not as good as dinner;-)). Public onsens are seperate: 1 for men and 1 for women. Both look the same and have one inside and one outside baths. There are 2 small "family" onsens also with small inside baths only; and 3 very small private onsens which can be booked. Overall it is a very nice SPA hotel and it was a pleasure to stay there!

Comfortable, excellent view of the river, great location close to the train station, amazing onsen facilities (tattoo-friendly) and the cherry on the top was the private onsen on our room. Lots of attention on the details. We were super satisfied with it all.
