Situated in Newtown, 5 minutes’ drive from Ballyvaughan and Galway Bay, The Waters Country House boasts over 40 acres of farmland at the foot of the Burren Hills. Ailwee Cave, also featuring an underground river and a waterfall, is only 3km from the property. A fascinating property with incredible charm. Wolfgang and Maria were fantastic hosts and the breakfast was wonderful.

Breakfast was spectacular with the nicest host you could ever ask for, the system for preordering is so cute and adds to the cozy cottage vibe. The room was huge, clean and the many windows made it feel even more open. Perfect if your group is larger than two, you can stay in the same room while giving each and everyone their own space.

The staff was extremely kind and welcoming, the location is absolutely amazing - Straight in the touristy center, however the windows did great job absorbing any noise.

The property is recommended by Le Guide du Routard. We loved our short stay, the hosts were very welcoming and friendly. We enjoyed sitting on their lawn enjoying the sunset watching the dolphins in the bay. An exception place to stay.
