Situated in Newtown, 5 minutes’ drive from Ballyvaughan and Galway Bay, The Waters Country House boasts over 40 acres of farmland at the foot of the Burren Hills. Ailwee Cave, also featuring an underground river and a waterfall, is only 3km from the property. This characterful property was full of quirks and personality. We really loved having access to common spaces (where we played some boardgames) and the owners kindly let some of our party stay late while the rest of us went horseback riding. They were able to accommodate my gluten allergy for breakfast, and my family members said the full Irish was amazing.

The spacious rooms at the Atlantic View all feature TVs, radios and safety deposit boxes. Hairdryers and tea/coffee-making facilities are also provided. Most rooms have power showers in the en-suite bathrooms. Huge room in a delightful B&B, very close to the Aran Island Ferry terminal. Gorgeous views of the Cliffs of Moher from our room and the breakfast dining room in the mornings. Lovely, friendly, and welcoming staff, very helpful with recommendations for things to do and see in the area. Breakfast was perfect; a selection of cereals with fruit and yoghurt, plus a cooked breakfast as well. The full Irish is delicious!! Comfortable beds and clean and tidy bathroom. All in all, it's a wonderful place to stay in Doolin and a great base to explore the region.

The Cliffs of Moher Hotel is a contemporary boutique hotel situated in the fishing village of Liscannor, Co. Clare, just a few kilometres from the world-famous Cliffs of Moher on one side and the surfing & golfing seaside town of Lahinch on the other.

Our luxurious rooms feature en suite bathrooms with luxury toiletries and a range of amenities for a comfortable stay. Staff were welcoming and friendly - when I arrived the restaurant had closed for the night but they offered to get me food from the kitchen, which was appreciated. The food was very good, particularly if you like seafood - the fish pie was very tasty. The room was clean and comfortable and had a small balcony. The hotel is a couple of minutes' walk from the harbour at the end of the village street.

The Pipers Rest is set in Doolin, off the main road, just a 2-minute walk from two of Doolin's traditional Irish music pubs.

Guests can also relax in the garden. Spacious room, private bathroom. Lovely view! Marie and her family were so kind and attentive, they made the stay so personable and welcoming. We are so lucky to have stayed a week with them! Despite some unfortunate airline delays, communication was easy and clear and we were able to arrange for a self check in after hours. Water, towels, toiletries and breakfast every morning was provided. It’s about an hour walk to the closest pub, which was not a problem for us, but something to keep in mind. Everything was phenomenal, we had a lovely stay and highly recommend booking with them!

Located between the picturesque village of Doolin (approx. 4 km) and the spectacular Cliffs of Moher (just 2 km). Very nice host and a beautiful room with a cosy bed. Some refreshments, fruits, drinks and porridge for a quick breakfast in the room. The place is very close to the cliffs. If you want a room with ocean view, you should ask before booking, because not all rooms have sea view.

With views over Doolin village and towards the Cliffs of Moher, Doolin View B&B is within a 10-minute walk of traditional Irish pubs and restaurants. Free private parking is available on site to guests. Our stay was nothing short of magical. The views over Doolin were absolutely breathtaking. The rooms were spotless, cozy, and beautifully decorated with such attention to detail. Breakfast was delicious, made with fresh, local ingredients. The hosts were incredibly warm and welcoming – and made us feel truly cared for. The location is perfect: peaceful and scenic, yet just a short walk from pubs with live traditional music and great food. We loved every moment and can’t wait to come back. Highly recommended!
